Family Law and Probate Attorney
Michelle R. Eddington
Michelle has been practicing law for 15 years. Prior to becoming an attorney, Michelle obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center in 1993. Michelle practiced in adult and pediatric surgical intensive care, burns and poly-trauma.
She then went on to obtain her JD from Baylor University in 2003. Since obtaining her JD, Michelle has handled all types of family law and probate matters including estate administration, contested wills and heirships, and high conflict divorces and custody actions. Michelle’s experience as a trauma nurse has given her a unique perspective on how to handle high conflict, stressful and traumatic situations in a calm, supportive and rational manner.
Additionally, Michelle served our county as an army nurse on active duty and in the reserves, so she has a special interest in helping all veterans and active military with their family law and probate needs.
Michelle is a member of the state bars of Texas and Arkansas, where she is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts. She is also a certified mediator.
