Donald Worley has been practicing law for over 20 years. In addition to his legal training he also holds a Masters of Business adminsitration degree from the University of Houston. He also served as a staff attorney in Houston probate court Number 2 under Judge Mike Wood before founding his own practice in 2002.
Don's experience in business administration serves his probate clients well. His understanding of complex wills and estates involving transfers of significant business properties has led to his being contracted by other firms around Houston to handle complex probate work on cases they are trying. He has also served as court appointed receiver for businesses in receivership, ensuring assets are preserved for all interested parties.
Don's principle office remains in Houston, Texas, and he limits his probate practice to Texas only. However, he represents clients from around the world in a wide range of other legal matters.
Don is a member of the state bars of Texas and New York and is admitted to practice before the courts in Washington DC. He also serves on the ethics committee of the state bar of Texas. The ethics committee hears complaints regarding legal malpractice within the state and sets ethical standards affecting all Texas lawyers.
